  • THE FIGHT TO LIVE

A Scene From the Fragment Spirit of Life

When I saw this video of the children suffering from starvation and polio, my heart broke. I wondered about the agony and pain they went through and the number of days they suffered before help came.
It struck me on how ignorant we have become when life is going well for us, and we fail to realize someone out there is FIGHTING TO LIVE. Here we are concerned about the nitty- gritties of life, taking self-pity, pursuing wealth, being so contented with the minimal but never knowing the needs of others in this world - people who are FIGHTING TO LIVE.

If we think that we are battling with life, maybe we should think again.
There is a greater battle out there awaiting us.
The battle to save the hungry, the homeless, the sick:
the are people who are FIGHTING TO LIVE,
the people who have not given up on this life given to them.

What are we going to do about this?

  • Precisely, its because of the PROBLEMS that We are HERE

When your life comes to a standstill, it's time to shake the dust off and start making a difference

maybe sometimes in life, we tend to take things for granted
and lead life the same way as it is everyday.
our life seems to be just this small bubble
and that's all that keeps us worrying.
but little do we know there's a world out there
screaming out to us and calling for the things we hold.
a world that is searching for what is eternal
more than just what satisfies for the moment.

If we realize that all we have is just one life, then let's start to think what we can do with this life.

    start making a difference

  • the aftermath

Tonight's worship at expo with Hillsong United was absolutely smashing. God was clearly evident in the singing, shouting, cheering, clapping, jumping, spinnings, raised hands, sweaty bodies, clenched fist pumping the air, God's victory taking physical shape.

when God's people come together in to worship because of their awe and their need to worship, the air in the place was breathtaking, beyond all that, beyond the music, the dancing, the singing, the cheering, a heart burning with reverence for their King of Glory.

Justice takes place when people encounter, its a by-product, a natural response.

There is a need, a need for us to bring this worship culture back to our local church, a worship culture that is not afraid, when we engage our humanly natural ways of celebration and worship, to sing in mouth and in heart. To look upon  God and take these love songs to Him. To fall down, to humble, to tear down and acknowledge that there is a need for us to worship God, just because He is God.
